The Syria Deployment is an opportunity to experience the impact of your fundraising first-hand, serving alongside Forgotten Ummah’s team in communities we support. Over five unforgettable days, you’ll visit Forgotten Ummah’s orphan school, spend meaningful time with the children, hear their stories and see first-hand the difference your support can make. You’ll also help distribute essential aid directly to families and communities, meeting the very people your fundraising is there to support. But this journey goes beyond aid distribution. You’ll have the opportunity to experience Syria’s rich Islamic heritage, visiting selected historical sites and discovering a land that holds a remarkable place in Islamic history. It is a chance to serve, learn, reflect and connect with Syria and its people in a way few visitors ever experience
From the moment you arrive, the deployment is organised to allow you to focus on the experience. Accommodation, food, local transport, translators and on-the-ground arrangements are included. Flights are not included in the registration fee, with guidance provided to participants ahead of travel. You won’t simply hear about the impact. You’ll meet the people, listen to their stories and be part of delivering it.
